Mike Gibbs is welcomed onto the Board, April 2013.

This evening was a momentous occasion for St Martins School. With the greatest of pleasure our Board of Trustees welcomed Mike Gibbs onto the Board, to represent our St Martins School Whānau Group. A formal powhiri marked this special occasion, during which Mike was handed over to our Board of Trustees. To close the ceremony, Henare Edwards our Kaumātua blessed our school charter and strategic plan, with one being presented to Mike to take to the Whānau Group, and the other presented to Greg Hamilton, our Board Chairperson. The Whānau Group will next meet on May 15 at 6.30pm in the staffroom. The aim of the meeting will be to clarify the Whānau Group vision and begin aligning it with the strategic plan.
